Celebrate Literacy Dessert Reception

Celebrate Literacy with MRA!
 
Join us as we honor those who support literacy across the state of Minnesota at the Celebrate Literacy Reception taking place on Friday, March 11 at the Maple Grove Community Center.  The evening begins with a dessert reception at 7:00pm with a program to follow at 7:30pm.
 
The celebration includes a Dollar Book Sale, so plan to stock up on new books for your classroom libraries or gather books for the children in your life.  In addition, a Silent Auction to benefit the Karen Johnson Lamb Memorial Scholarship fund is being held.  Silent auction items include a homemade quilt, theme baskets and items donated from local businesses.

During the program we will celebrate our grant, scholarship, and Exemplary Reading Program award winners.
 
Finally, the evening will conclude with a celebration of the work of two outstanding literacy leaders in Minnesota:  Nancy Stalland and Dr. Carolyn Gwinn.
